Canaan Strickland | Har-Ber High School Senior

I was lucky enough to call Canaan my very first twenty twenty-four senior! Some seniors are hesitant to book their senior portraits in the summer, but it’s actually one of the best times to have your session! Canaan’s session ended up being a perfect 80° day and perfectly sunny! The morning of her session, we woke up and almost rescheduled because there was a HUGE storm. But an hour later, it was totally gone! I am so glad we ended up shooting that day in June!

Reasons why summer is a great time to book your senior portraits:

• You get to use your senior photos ALL year long.

• Schedules are less busy and days are longer.

• You start your senior year off with a big event!

• You have your photos with plenty of time for yearbook deadlines. (Make sure to know your deadlines).

Canaan is a part of so many activities at school including DECA & HOSA as well as works at a local boutique. With that said, everyone knows her AND loves her. I am so excited for her to start her senior year soon at Har-Ber High School (my alma mater). Canaan, you sure are special and I just adore your senior portraits.
