2018 Senior Hall of Fame

This school year was the first year I was all in for senior photography. When I started photography in the summer of 2016 I had no idea what type of photography I would cling to. Honestly I didn't think it would be seniors. I liked the idea of shooting couples or shooting fashion but it just never really worked out for me. I still love couples and fashion but that wasn't what kept coming back to me. I kept getting more and more seniors asking me to take their photos. At first I was hesitant. I thought, "Oh no, there is way too much pressure in seniors for me. Seniors and senior parents have high expectations for me..." And then it all sort of hit me and I realized that's THE reason why I liked senior photography so much. It puts pressure on me. I like the pressure. I do better under pressure. In photography there is always pressure but for some reason seniors always made me a bit more nervous. I am not sure why but growing up, in sports, and in this I do better with pressure added. Then seniors because my sweet spot.

I had a little over 30 seniors this school year and wow does that make my heart happy. I have no idea where next year will take me but I am just so overwhelmed and thankful that so many families trusted me and my vision to take their sons' or daughters' senior pictures.

Below is one photo from every session! Each person was so unique and special to me. Every time I went out to shoot I walked away with a different feeling. I hope you enjoy looking back on all of my amazing seniors! Feel free to share! Thank you so much.
