Hello Local Event

Growing up in Springdale you always got a bad rep for being the "lame" city in Northwest Arkansas. I remember always wondering why we got picked on but then I realized we were just a few steps behind; no big deal. Now I think Springdale is going places and going to those places fast. With the renovation of the entire downtown, new hospital, numerous new restaurants, and the new Walmart, I am proud to stay in Springdale and shop and eat local. Don't get me wrong I am always in Bentonville or Fayetteville (I just love NWA in general). But Springdale has some very exciting things coming our way. 

Last week I had the opportunity to be part of an event hosted by the Springdale shop, Hello Local. While they have had an online presence for a while, they are opening their doors for their brand new store in about a month. Hello Local's vision is to create a dynamic, ever-changing SHOP LOCAL retail experience for Northwest Arkansas. Hello Local hosted a t-shirt design event for the Har-Ber Volleyball seniors. Being a Har-Ber Volleyball alumni, I was all in to capture this event. The girls successfully created a design that will be printed and sold. You will have to keep your eye out for it!
