Oh Christmas Tree

Christmas came fast this year and I'm not sure about you but it wasn't feeling like Christmas until I woke up this morning to snow on the ground. That was exactly what I needed to get in the holiday mood! I shot models Alexis Landers and Spencer Arnold a few weeks ago on a chilly Friday afternoon at the Wisconsin Tree Farms in Fayetteville. If you haven't been to this tree farm it should be on your list! This was one of my favorite shoots ever. These girls absolutely kill it every time they step in front of my camera. 10 minutes into this shoot we realized we were missing something. Starbucks. Luckily a new Starbucks just opened up right down the road and I think it really added to everything!

As Christmas approaches we should try to remember the real meaning of why we celebrate! I think a lot of us get wrapped up in presents (pun intended) and giving and receiving gifts. But we should remember that the real reason we celebrate is because of Jesus! His birth, death, and resurrection are the reason we all have the opportunity to have eternal life, and I think it's easy to forget that around Christmas!
