Photography — My Dream Job

WOW. Who can believe that the time has already come and gone? It was such a privilege getting to be surrounded by such amazing girls this year. After my last 2021 senior photoshoot, I went home and realized how blessed I am to call this my job. It’s my DREAM job. I am not going to lie, my heart kind of hurts after wrapping up this year. These girls are so special to me!

A Big Year

Every class is special to me but this class holds a sweet spot because it was the year I moved from Northwest Arkansas to Texas. I moved in the middle of their year and had to shoot almost half of them while I was living in Texas. All of the time spent away from my new Texas home was all worth it because of these young ladies. With that said this 2021 Class was the last full class of (mainly) Arkansas girls. It’s amazing to think that now I am taking mainly Dallas/Fort Worth seniors.

Amazing Memories

At the end of their year, I was lucky enough to have cap & gown minis where I saw most of them for a second or third time during their year. It made me tear up seeing them in their cap & gown in front of their high schools, ready to walk across that stage. The same weekend, I was able to have 16 of them meet me for a big group photo of them in their college t-shirts. Seeing them altogether smiling and laughing made me really sad because they would be off to college soon! But I know it is time and they are ready.

Cheers to 2021!

It was so inspiring to watch all of my seniors take on their senior year with such joy and positivity despite having a full senior year of unknowns. I loved watching all of my seniors making the most of it and still celebrating big. At the beginning of their senior year, we didn’t know how May 2021 would look. Now that we are here, I don’t think we could have asked for more! Cheers to you, Class of 2021! I wish you all the best in your next adventures. Scroll to see all of my beautiful 2021 seniors!
